My name is Alan Weems and I would like the opportunity to serve you as your REALTOR®. As a residential REALTOR® since 2004, I offer you real experience, real guidance and real integrity throughout the buying and selling process.
Prior to becoming a REALTOR®, I taught Marketing and Sales at Central 9 Career Center. During that time, I became adept at meeting the diverse needs of each student, learned the importance of effective communication, and strived for the best outcome for each individual. I bring that same skill set to meet the needs of my clients as their REALTOR®.
As someone passionate about basketball, I’ve coached the sport at all levels from my sons’ junior leagues to high school varsity. I’ve been privileged to coach at schools in the Franklin, Clark-Pleasant and Greenwood systems, as well as Center Grove and Indian Creek students through AAU. These experiences have allowed me to get to know families throughout Johnson County. My last few years of varsity coaching brought two semi-state appearances for the girls basketball team at Greenwood Christian Academy. Building a successful basketball team- like successfully serving real estate clients- requires reliability, sustained effort and high-level knowledge. I bring those qualities to each of my clients.
In addition to teaching and coaching, my family has greatly shaped me as a person. My wife, Jo Ellen, and I belong to The Creek (Indian Creek Christian Church) and we are blessed with two grown sons, Tyler and Nathan, and a daughter-in-law, Shailyn.
I view myself as a coach and teacher through the entire real estate experience, putting my clients’ needs at the center of my efforts. I’m humbled to be trusted and approved by my clients, as evidenced by numerous Quality Service Awards and total sales over 70 million dollars. The awards are a reflection of the people behind them…the friends who have become clients and the clients who have become friends.
I’m especially honored by many of my former students who have trusted me with their real estate needs, as well as by my numerous repeat clients. They represent families purchasing and selling homes in many price points and in numerous areas of the state. The essence of my business is to represent with integrity clients from all walks of life, in all age groups and diverse situations. My clients have included young first-time buyers, older individuals who are moving into assisted living, and families purchasing an upper-end dream home.
