Over the last three decades, Jonathan has built a distinguished reputation amongst the buying +
selling public, as well as within the close-knit community of local real estate professionals.
Jonathan is known for his ability to transform a property in preparation for the market + visually
represent his clients' properties in such a way that "the story is effectively told" long before the
prospective buyer ever sets foot in the home. This very focus has led to long-term relationships
with some of the most respected brokerage firms in Indianapolis.
In a recent, poetic + full-circle, moment, Jonathan returned to Century 21 Scheetz where his
career began 25 years ago. A symbiotic relationship, blending Jonathan's impeccable ability in
preparing homes for the market, and the powerhouse marketing resources of the most recognized
names in real estate on the planet. He holds an Indiana Real Estate Broker Associate license and is
a proud 25-year member of the Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors®, the Indiana
Association of Realtors®, and the National Association of Realtors®. Jonathan also holds his
American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and Accredited Staging Professionals (ASP)
designations. His design work has won local, state, and national awards, and has been published
in Indianapolis Monthly, Sophisticated Living and Indianapolis Home on multiple occasions.
Jonathan grew up in Carmel, graduated from Carmel High School, and earned his degree in
Architecture from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Prior to residential real estate, Jonathan
worked as an intern-architect for Browning, Day, Mullins, Dierdorf, as well as J.W. McQuiston
Architecture + Interior Design.
Mid-Century Modern enthusiasts, the Eriksen's currently reside in their fifth mid-mod, a 1960s
Donald Fisher design outside the Devonshire area. The Eriksens are huge supporters of local arts,
particularly involved in The Harrison Center for the Arts and First Friday events. Many local artists'
works can be found in the Eriksen's gallery-like home. Jonathan is a community leader, serving as
past-President of the Ivy Hills Residents' Association and the Greater Allisonville Community
Council. Jonathan and his wife, Stephanie, attend Trinity Wesleyan Church and are avid supporters
of The Oaks Academy and Park Tudor School, where their (now-grown) children, Natalie and Henry,
both attended. In his leisure time, Jonathan enjoys frequenting Indy's best restaurants as a selfdiagnosed
"foodie", spending time with his family in Michigan, the Caymans + Mexico…
